Dr. Caffrey is a licensed, board certified psychiatrist practicing in New York State.
She graduated with honors from Johns Hopkins University where she studied public health sciences, and completed her medical degree at Dartmouth College Geisel School of Medicine, where she graduated with honors.Â
Dr. Caffrey then went on to complete psychiatry residency at Columbia University, where she served as a Chief Resident. She also served as an American Psychiatric Association leadership fellow during residency. She has presented and published research in areas including cognitive behavioral therapy in early psychosis, psychiatric medication side effects, and equitable healthcare delivery.
In addition to private practice, she is currently completing a fellowship in forensic psychiatry jointly through Columbia and Cornell and a psychoanalytic fellowship through Columbia.
